The first residents of LDK’s seniors living development, Greenway Views, have begun moving into their apartments.

The $270 million village is now Australia’s largest seniors living development. The development repurposed the former Department of Social Services (DSS) office precinct into more than 380 apartments.

LDK offers residents a “one move promise” to ensure residents will “never need to move again”. Providing low-to-high care options, including dementia and palliative care, available if and when residents may require them.

“Greenway Views is our flagship project, it is delivering LDK’s vision for the future of seniors’ living and is our greatest opportunity to show the rest of Australia how we should be treating our seniors,” said LDK CEO Byron Cannon.

“Our vision is that every senior Australian will be treated with love, decency and kindness in their ageing journey and those values underpin every aspect of Greenway Views.

“Helping our first residents move in today is the culmination of a huge effort over two years by so many people to make our vision a reality.”
