REIA awards finalists announced





Finalists have been announced for the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) National Awards for Excellence, with a host of ACT industry achievers among them.

REIA President Adrian Kelley said the national awards this year had a total of 101 entrants, up from 86 last year, with an increase in female candidates.

“It’s also pleasing to note there has been an increase in female candidates in the different categories from previous years, in particular in the category of Residential Salesperson of the Year, which is always hotly contested,” he said.

The ACT will be represented at the awards in Darwin in April by the following finalists, in 16 of the 20 categories: Achievement Award: Ravi Soni, Laing+Simmons Commercial Property; Commercial Agency of the Year: Colliers International; Commercial Salesperson of the Year: Guy Randell, Burgess Rawson; Operational Support Award: Natalie Mills, McGrath Dickson; Operational Leadership Award: Hannah Gill, Independent Property Management; Marketing and Communications Award: Independent; Innovation Award: Independent; Community Service Award: Independent; Business Development Manager of the Year: Lyn Fairweather, LJ Hooker Gungahlin; Large Residential Agency of the Year: Independent; Medium Residential Agency of the Year: McGrath Dickson; Small Residential Agency of the Year: En Vogue Property Management; Residential Property Manager of the Year: Kimberly Nugent, Independent Property Management; Residential Property Management Team of the Year: McIntyre Property; Residential Salesperson of the Year: Peta Barrett, LJ Hooker Kippax; Residential Sales Team of the Year: Mark Larmer, Aaron Lewis and Tania Butler-Kemp, Independent Inner North and City.
