Canberra builders were recognised at the Master Builders National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards, held over the weekend at Uluru, with a win in each sector of the industry: residential, commercial and civil construction.

Classic Constructions and Melinda Boag Design took out the National Display Home $500,000 to $1.5 million category for ‘The Balcombe’ in Denman Prospect; Pier Projects and Oztal Architects were awarded the National Commercial/Industrial Construction Award – under $5 million, for the Shaw Wines Cellar Door in Murrumbateman; and the Civil Infrastructure Award – under $25 million went to Guideline ACT and the Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate for the Isabella Weir upgrade.
