Batemans Bay NSW – 1 Herarde Street
Local developer Core Developments is bringing the luxe factor to the NSW South Coast, with their seaside Ohana apartments in Batemans Bay.
The first luxury development for the area, Ohana has been designed to suit a range of buyers, including those looking for holiday homes, downsizers looking for a seaside retirement or those looking to invest by the beach.
“Core Developments is a family run, Canberra grown business, so the South Coast was a natural progression for us,” says Core Developments director, Ryan Cappello.
“Batemans Bay is less than two hours from the Capital and is embedded into our memory as a childhood holiday destination. We see this as an opportunity to inject vitality and sophistication into the coastline while engaging with the architects at JUDD.studio to make a meaningful impact on the community.”
Ohana will comprise 67 apartments: one-, two- and three-bedroom single-storey apartments, two-bedroom two-storey apartments and the stunning four-bedroom penthouse.
“We designed the penthouse across two levels with a massive double-storey void to celebrate the views north to Pinnacle Point across Batemans Bay Marine Park and out to the hinterland to the west,” says JUDD.studio director, Nathan Judd. “The wraparound balcony maximises the outdoor living space and entertaining areas of the dwelling and is a generous 45sqm.”
Each residence will enjoy picturesque views and the fresh sea breeze, just a short walk from the centre of town; you’ll feel like you’re on a permanent holiday.
The interiors have been designed by legendary designer Mon Palmer, with three gorgeous palettes to choose from.
“Colour and texture play a significant role in how we feel in a space, so it was important for us to pull through the three coastal palettes that evoke different emotion,” says Palmer of her design. “In the kitchen
and bathrooms, find sandy nudes for Boho Bungalow, ivory and noir for Tropical Luxe, and serene green for Bermudian Boutique.”
She’s also designed a luxury rooftop space for residents to enjoy picturesque views, an exotic garden with Bangalow palms and Bougainvillea, sandstone pavement and, the cherry on top – the rooftop pool.
“The rooftop pool is generous with circular shapes and curves following in suit of the building and interiors. Enjoy intimate nights in the curved booth style seating in the cabana or working from a laptop in this inspiring open-air space,” says Palmer.
Buyers are able to exchange on $1,000, with the balance of the deposit payable 30 June 2020.
